chain classify chronological?

Hi fom Germany. I received a second Carabinieri chain. Now the padlocks and the keys are different from the first one i bought.
How can I classify them chronological?

Hi Jens,
I cannot help you with their exact age. I believe they were used from World War One onwards. I have a few with slightly different locks and keys but all basically the same. My 2 original keys are both brass but slightly different and one is the same as your brass key.
If anyone else is interested, I have two of these chains with padlocks and 2 padlocks for sale or trade. The keys are not original but everything works well. The padlocks also fit the Bagno handcuffs.
