Has anyone heard from Gotcha and when they will potentially release their new handcuffs. I have emailed them repeatedly without response and when I call their 800 number all I get is a busy signal. They have my money and I am less than pleased. Any additional contact information you may have for them would be appreciated.

Well if you ordered a pair and are not a police officer they will send you your money back when they feel like it.Bill would rather go bankrupt then sell his handcuffs to anyone not in law enforcement.This is why his head is up his (donkeys behind)being nice.The new handcuff requires a match or a lighter to get out of them because they are plastic.

The problem is I am a Police Officer and went through all of the vetting process they asked for and received approved confirmation for the orders.

You will need to email him, a copy of, your PayPal receipt. once he verifies, that they received your money, they will
issue you a check. I got mine, in about a week or so.

I don't know what to think of all this. I still have hopes that they will ship but it's certainly a swimming upstream scenario.

If you paid through PayPal, you may have some recourse through them, although I bet the clock has run on their dispute process.

I wrote an email to the recommendaed party including my PAYPAL invoices asking for a full refund. I will let you know what happens.

Personally, I think religious beliefs and such in a business environment don't mix well.

I don't think religious beliefs have anything to do with it, to me it just comes down to several things.

#1. Communicate with people better. Especially if you've already taken their money.

#2. Deliver a product. If you take the money then make sure you can produce the product and deliver it.

#3. Just keep fair business practices and be honest with people. Keeping them in the dark accomplishes nothing.

Everyone I've had communcation with at FBIC has been really nice and I want to see them pull it together and make it happen.

I will say this, Bill and the crew have spent money devoloping and testing the product and going to shows. That tells me they didn't intend to have problems and have all these delays happen. They even went so far as strength testing their cuffs against a popular steel model and I'm sure all that wasn't cheap.

My biggest thing is I wish they'd update people or their facebook page or something.

Well it's been 5 days now that the email was sent and no reply or response from the company. I have a feeling that this will be money lost.

I would bet that you'll just get a check in the mail. I really don't think these guys would just intentionally stick it to you so I wouldn't give up right away.

If I sent my money to a business and they aren't returning calls and are not contacting customers to keep them updated which basically raises the question have I been scammed?

Contact the State Attorney General's Office where you sent the payment and file a formal complaint. If enough complaints are received it will lite one hell of a fire under GOTCHA's ASS. You'll see the product or a return of your money.

I wouldn't wait. The longer the time passes the company may start liquidating assets the business has if they're having a fire sale you won't get anything back. STRIKE THE MATCH NOW !!

10 days ago they promised me to return my money to my Paypal-account within 10 days. Guess who's still waiting ...

I just got my refund.

So I just got my second refund check. I ordered 2 sets at different times and my second check arrived today. Believe me it took continued emails (daily) before getting a refund. Funny thing is that the checks came from a personal account and not that of Gotcha handcuffs. I have a feeling this venture like the last is destined to fail.

I guess the only light at the end of the tunnel is they claim that anyone that pre-ordered and paid in advance will receive the number of cuffs they ordered for free when and if they start shipping even though we got refunds. Fingers crossed; we will see.
