Which One is Best for bondsman?

I have to chose either S&W Model 1 or Hiatt's model 2003"Big Guy" cuffs I need feedback as to durabilty ease of use ect.let me know.

I would go with the Hiatts. They preload for speed cuffing. S/W does not. I had a problem cuffing a combative subject with my S/W Model 100P's around a year ago. The arm hit the body of the cuff when it swung around, thus not engaging. I haven't used the S/W's since. My Hiatts have ALWAYS been reliable & never failed me yet.

At this point you have a tie. So let me add my opinion to break it. I have to agree with Larry. The Hiatts seem to have a tight tolerance in their construction so they snap closed properly each time. The backload feature is handy to allow the cuffs to snap on more easily without hurting or bruising a subject's wrist. And they generally seem to ratchet more smoothly. I'd go with the Hiatts.
