Certain close friends and relatives of John Bushey conspired to surprise John with a birthday party. (The big 50). Part of the devious plot was to tell John that a family member was sick so he would have the week off to hang with visiting friends. It really was a surprise.

There is no collection for sale and we, (the co-conspirators), would never have let John sell his collection except maybe for the King Breaker (to Fred) and the Wisner to me!! Love you John and happy birthday!!!

Thanks to my sister Barb and the co-conspirators Mark Lundblad and Mark Mitton
for the surprise party. And, to everyone who attended. Ian McColl is still in
Duluth, MN, and should he try any more jokes to sell my collection I do have photos
that I could post here. He thinks it's very cold, but we've still had lots of fun.
We've seen deer, beaver, porcupine, squirrels, had many chickadees land on our heads,
and even had a tour of the Fire Department (Lisa is an EMT in Australia).
Ian fixed my drill press, but I must admit the service call was a bit expensive.
My collection is NOT FOR SALE! More on the wonderful surprise later and again
thank you to all who traveled so far to attend. Sunday night we're visitin a guy in
town who owns over 300 safes and safe banks.

December 6th is a very special day......many GREAT/Famous people were born on this day! Here are just a few:

Guitar Legend, Randy Rhoads (The guitarist who played for Ozzy Osbourne on his first two albums but died tragically on March 19th 1982 in a plane crash).

Monotone Comedian, Stephen Write (the guy on the couch in the movie Half-Baked).

Escape Artist/Magician Doctor Wilson (I think we all know who he is).

Infamous bank robber, George "Baby Face" Nelson.

Happy Birthday Michael, and others.
It was my big 50th. My sister threw quite the party, a total surprise, with fred, Damon, Gordon, Mark, and even Ian and Lisa McColl
visiting the St. Paul and then Duluth area. Ian and Lisa stayed over a week, and we had a great time. I hope eveyone else's birthdays
in the past day also had a great one! Stay well, and enjoy the day. Michael, I never knew we had the same birthdate! I suspect I've got

Happy Birthday Dorson!!! Wow, another one in the 12-06 Club!!!

John, thanks for the Birthday wish. I just found out we share the same Birthday a few days ago when facbook sent me an upcoming Birthday list. I have known for years about Doctor Wilson but I didn't expect to see another person with the same Birthday in our circle.....the chances were slim. BTW, you only have nine years on me. =)

Hi John, Happy birthday for the 6th. Just got back home and missed the 7th, it's the 8th here now. Thanks for a wonderfull time. Barbara did a fantastic job getting many of your friends to come for the surprise. I am going thru the 1200 photos and will try to posted a few. People back home don't think it is crazy to take photos of the weather on TV to prove the case, 'that's is crazy to to live in such cold"
