any ideas?

recently going through stuff from my parents house and found a single handcuff with a very short chain attched with a metal hook attached. no key needed to oped the small cuff it has a latch you just pull up to release the cuf and open it. it has imprinted on one side w. bradford belfast ireland and on the other side april 4 1888. I do not know how to post pictures. I am a child of the 60's and technologically handicapped, but i can do macrame!. i will ask my dgtr in law to help me post some puctures as soon as she can help me. this whole apparatus is small but not flimsy. i think it might be cast iron. searched online but could find nothing even close. i ound your site and thought someone might have some ideas, comments. thanks for any help and happy healthy holidays to all of you. sincerely, muriel.

If you go to www.photobucket.com you can sign up for a free account and then when you take some nice digital photos of your item you can upload them to your photbucket folder and share the link to the photos in this same post thread which you have made.
