After the thread by Mr. Goncz, I got my pair out and was studying them. My pair is marked different than the pairs that are on the bay right now. Mine say GHC-100 Pat Pend and Mad in the USA on the backs of both cuffs. The serial number is more in the center up near the chain. The fronts both just say GONCZ and the brochure was signed in 2005.
The brochure shows a model GHC-100 and also shows a GHC-200-HS. Is that the design that never went into production? Is mine different than the pairs that Mark Lyons has?

All the cuffs are basically the same.
I have to check my notes but I believe the serial numbers on the earlier cuffs were off to one side. Later models had the serial number near the chain and centered.
I have some early, early models with no serial numbers or model numbers at all.
One version of the high security model has only 1 chain link, making this more of a hinged cuff without utilizing any great design or manufacturing processes. Quite genius, really.
Serial number 000001 is now in my possession and it is a transportation chain with 2 pairs of cuffs on a long chain.
One set of cuffs have the serial number on it while the opposing side cuffs are blank.
Mr Goncz invited me to lunch a couple months ago. He selected a historical place.....the first Big Boy restaurant.
I had to take the Bad Big Boy into custody for loitering in a public place.
