Hi, For the new version of Goncz cuffs, John says there should be a market for at least 10,000 to 15,000. I suspect that this is based on what he has already SOLD.

I am just curious as to how many our handcuff collecting comunity already have. As there are about 100 facebook members, I am going to punt that there should be half that number who were collecting when the Goncz cuff came out.

I Have one and Love it!!! The best design and made out of best material. Also meets and surpasses NIJ Standards and probably DIN ( Deutsche Industri Norm). and Made in USA by Americans, some assembly workers were from Mexico. Results: Best products!!!

So far not a single came back because of failure.... Ooops / misspoken: One came back from Chicago, could not take the "Sledge hammer beating" other wise still functioning. Mark can reassure my statement.

Penn and Teller did a whole show on how some people think that by changing words they are being not being offensive.
It is the intension and attitude that needs to change not the words.

I have reservations about perpetuating a bad language thread on Joe.s forum, but here it goes.

The use of the word "as**ole" in your example leads me to believe that the word is less offensive down under than it is up here.
The word is almost never used here unless one wishes to escalate shock value. One would hardly use that word in a professional environment or in mixed company. It is very offensive and is even banned by most radio and TV.
I wonder if is it used less offensively down under.

I believe the work "bleeding" is a much harsher word than "bloody" over in Merry ole England.
Over here in the US, blurting out "Bleeding" would hardly raise an eyebrow with anyone in almost any setting.

I wonder if "As**ole down there is equivalent to "Bleeding" is over here as your example seems to indicate.

I have seen "arse" used as an alternative, but am not certain it it is designed to lower the offensiveness as "freakin" seems to do. (Freakin does appear in my spell checker, strangely enough)

I am offended by the concept that if a word is changed it's then makes it okay.
The letters OMG stands for what it is "Oh My God' changing it to gawd isn't fooling anyone.
I would like to see any abuse using any spelling rejected by people at this site.
On TV radio and press here, we use S, F, AH but never C (even we have limits)
(we tougher here, LOL)

I called Joe a MFSOB and he will remain that... Did he provided swearing on the Bible??? ..not because he is a Liar. The reason I know that he recorded all the telephone conversation as he sendt it to the Los Angeles DA, who sendt it to me direct. Beside the conversation, he added his speach to it. Upon the DA read it and was clear, that there was no criminal intent or crime commited sendt it to me.

So he will remain a Low Life MFSOB and I will allert everybody to be aware, when you are speaking to that sneak.

I didn't say that you have reservations about continuing a thread about bad language...I stated that I did.
I am not using offensive language to demean anyone. This is a handcuff forum and not a language forum, so for that I had reservations about extending a topic which is not related to restraints.
I have advanced the tread into a discussion about bad language.
Perhaps something can be learned about the world wide usage of bad language by posting here....so it is somewhat educational. I am not using the bad language to hurt others as many of the previous posts clearly have. In regards to the infantile behavior, I will take a stand on it and state that it is not appropriate on this forum. Joe has to spend his precious time eliminating those posts which he feels is over the limit of decency and I'm sure that is not much fun.

I agree with you that changing the spelling does not weaken the hurt that is implied. It seems to be a trend, but if someone calls me a freakin idiot or uses the real "F" word, I would be equally upset.

Our Southerners have a saying that seems to work, however.
One someone witnesses someone doing a really stupid thing, they don't say; That Billy sure is a stupid idiot!....they just say; That Billy...Bless his heart!

I cant belive that john goncz wrote this and is proud of it. GHC 100-00 in Gold, Black and Plated.
PNP (Peruvian Nat. Police) Less than 40 known to be is the US. Nickle or Black.
GHC-200-HS in Plated (High Security w stronger springs)
GBC-100-00 in Black and Plated (belly chain with 36 inch chain and steel ring)
GPT-100-00 in Black, Gold Plate, or Plated. A pair of handcuffs at each end of a 48 inch chain.

All the above are for sale or trade.
I do not have any of the semi-hinged (1 chain link) in either the standard or High Security models as they are all sold out.

Joe as you can see it I was away, but I saw your answer... You are a straight MFL. You swore on the Bible, that you did not recorded the telephone conversation... The facts are that upon you received the handcuffs and the compensatory once, than to the telephone recordings you added you slimy txt to it and send it to The Los Angeles District Attorney, who saw it that no criminal intent was present and no criminal offence was committed, therefore he sent me the whole package with the recording tape.
