His widow wrote a book on his life, The Great Dank - Magician, back in 1997. One of the things that came up is that a magician 'borrowed' the autographed Houdini photos and never returned them, along with the Great Dank printing block. From this book, Charles Fine was a real gentleman and I hope that someone out there finds and returns to the family the Houdini photos and printing block.

I believe that there are less than 100 copies of the book printed. 70 pages of text with around 40 pages of photos and news clippings, there is maybe about ten photos of magic and escapes with the rest other aspects of his life. I would say that it is somewhat like the Val Andrews Murray book.
