Any new info on the Gotcha cuffs

Has anybody got any of these yet? I've not been able to obtain any.

You won't be getting any as an individual for quite awhile. To obtain a pair even for testing requires a letter from the head of the Police agency stating they will be used for T&E, and they are only sending them to the Departmental address. They are selling a lot better than I expected for the price, and they are indeed impressive. I will own a set as soon as I save up the lunch money. The test pairs I have handled are as solid a cuff made. I do not look for them to ever go to civillian sale however.

PS-The model 90 did come in the "new" style box for a couple of years in the early 80's. They had a plastic insert holding the cuffs instead of the wad of oil paper. And my guess on "Gucci" cuffs would be they are probably earrings or a belly button ring.

Well I am going to vote with my money.

Since Gotcha does not like to sell to anyone whom they do not personally approve, they will not be getting any money from me.

I am sure that sometime, maybe at the next convention, one may be available to look at.

Thanks for the info guys. I'm looking forward to getting a pair as we all know some will pop up. It's kinda like law enforcement only ammunition; restricted sales but not hard at all to obtain.
