#5I don't understand the above posts. The first of the two auctions is for a very rare item. They are what is sometimes known as "Russian Prison" handcuffs, although they may in fact be German (Michael Busch and I have not yet positively decided). I consider that the price is a little high, and the condition could be a little better, but the item seems to be in good working order and would make a beautiful addition to some collection.
The second set is a perfectly nice item also, although not nearly as rare. I have an almost identical set and it's the real deal. Sure, it's Third World. But it's a fine example of a puzzle-lock shackle. And the present price range is certainly attractive.
