Looks like Rankin leg irons to me. I'm sure someone can help.

I realize that they appear to be Rankin but Im certain they are not! The Rankin company must have modeled/copied there cuffs after these, I have seen these in up close and physical they have absolutely no markings very old with very old very dark patina very smithy and each unique to it smith. These were pre/post colonial long before 1866.
