Rivolier ID03053 is no longer available!

Dear fellow collectors,

according to brand new information from Rivolier, they decided to stop production of ID03053 handcuffs (Rivolier model 2003/2004, double lock with push buttons – see picture). So if this model is not in your collection yet, maybe you should better not hesitate too long to get one.

Will there be a new model to replace this? I assume that the Leg iron of this design is also no longer made?

Hello Stan,

we will ask Rivolier, if there will come out a new model as replacement. I think that the push button version was no real alternative to the high security tumbler lock handcuffs (ID03045), consindering that they are only a little bit cheaper. Rivolier just told us that they stopped producing the handcuffs, no word considering the leg iron of this design. But we will ask, too.

a short moment ago we got an order for our last pair of Rivolier ID03044 push button leg irons, so this model is now sold out.

But we still have Rivolier ID03053 push button handcuffs in stock.

Good news. Today we managed to purchase the last dozen ID03044 leg irons with push button double lock from Rivolier. So we are not sold out of this model yet. Nevertheless it will take about 10 days until new pieces will be available.

I cannot understand why Rivolier have made this decision as they appear to order them in from a factory as and when they need them, however we have a very small stock of them.

If they really are not going to make anymore, maybe someone should make them an offer and buy the tool and die equipment to make them.
