Hiat handcuffs..." 1 T "

Hello....
We have a set of old handcuffs and trying to get some info on them and found your sight...I can tell you that they are stamped " HIAT and only 1 T "...and after the T...there is either a O or a zero stamped....
There Number 7 is on the Key and the cuffs....
On the piece where the key goes in...The other end and a feather like pattern stamped in around the edge with Y stamped in the middle...

Any help with be Great...Lobsterlady...

For a better evaluation of both the item and stampings you would be best to post a photo. I also inherited a set of old warrant cuffs (a Scotland Yard relative from Birmingham who was a detective there)spelt HIAT (with one T). Seems that people don't believe it?

I have several pairs of cuffs marked HIAT.
I also have more than one pair of IATT cuffs.
