Inside the Houdini Estate

Last month Patrick Culliton and I were invited to tour the "Houdini Estate" in Laurel Canyon by the current owner, José Luis Nazar. We had quite the time, especially as José piled us with selections from his world class wine collection.

Have just sobered up, I've written a blog about the history of the property with video of Pat and photos of my own explorations in 1977, etc. It's everything you ever wanted to know (and a lot you didn't) about the Houdini Estate.

Excellent research regarding this property.
I visited this property with Patrick about 6 years ago. Unfortunately, it was from the roadway and did not get to see much.
I am happy to see some of the pictures from inside the property of the non-Houdini side of the street.
I would like to see more pics from inside the house, namely the ball room and other eloquently furnished rooms.

The ballroom was in the original mansion that is long gone. Very few pics of that house. None of the inside that I know of.

You can see lot of pics of the carriage house inside and out at the Houdini estate website. Good video too.
