Welcome Axel. Wonderful collection, and very nice photos. I especially like the multiple angles. Many of these cuffs I will probably never own, but this is the next best thing.

Can you tell us anything about your Anuha HC-15B? There is a post from a few days ago concerning Japanese cuffs--we don't seem to have much expertise in this forum on Japanese cuffs. Where did you get them?

Hello,

thank you all for the good words The Anuha Handcuffs I had bought at www.cuffsland.de - a german store for special handcuffs. The handcuffs are very interesting for me, because the little holes in the cuff for the closure.

More I can't say about it - Informations about Chinese an japanese cuffs are very difficult to find. Perhaps Atame (in this forum too) could say more about it.

With the little holes in the cuff I have handcuffs from Russia too. The have a Screw Key to open like darby handcuffs, but the style is normal (like old Peerless) - I will photograph them in the next time.

Hello Larry,

the ANHUA (not ANUHA) HC-15B is definetly a Chinese not a Japanese model. It is still produced by the ANHUA Police Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd.

These handcuffs use a toothed wheel instead of a ratchet, which makes them more secure against shimming. The key-bid is also unusual - no standard key will open these handcuffs. The flat key-thorn is used for the non-common double lock. To double lock the handcuffs insert the key-thorn into the slot on the side of the lock case near the key hole and turn it in direction of the bow.
