Yes, they are approved. There is no information about that in the box or user´s manual, but at www.alfa-proj.cz in the section " PØEDSTAVUJEME SE" then go to "CERTIFIKÁTY" is possible to see and download copies of certificates, that these handcuffs are in complience wiht this standard. I have bought a pair of 9921 and 9927 and 9900 and I am sure these handcuffs are very secure, much better than Smith-Wesson or Peerless. Probably model 9900 is not certificated, because i did not find any information abou that. I am from Czech Republic, so my information is very good in this respect.

these companies ships handcuffs probably everywhere in the world, I have bought my Ralkem handcuffs in the Czech republic - directly from the manufacturer, so I don´t have any experience with buying them from these internet shops.. These handcuffs are of very high quality, I think similar to Smith-Wesson or Peerless. You will be certainly satisfied.
