Buyers Beware:
A friend recently bought a pair of S&W 926's off Ebay that were represented as in "excellent condition" for $137.00. When they arrived they were severely discolored (looks like some kind of chemical stain), scratched and full of dings and no amount of polishing will make them any better. The Ebay seller "Elvis2840" refused to reply to 4 separate messages and emails. Ebay interveined and offered my friend a full refund, however, the same dishonest lowlife seller has reposted the cuffs at the link below:

I originally owned this pair of Airweight's. About 6 to 8 months ago, I sold this pair of Airweights to an Ebay User elvis2840. When I sold them I represented in my ad that it was a used duty cuff and had scuffs and scraps from handcuff case rub marks. I took multiple pictures, at least 7 or 8 to show the damage and wear marks. The cuffs did function flawlessly when I sold them and there was no chemical discoloration, only the case scuffs which removed some of the polished sheen.
What he has done to them since he purchased from me, I do not know. All I can state is the condition they were in when I sold them to him.

At aluminium factories, workers have to wear gloves to handle aluminium as perspiration discolours the metal. Each person has slightly different chemical make which can effect the metal fast or slow, or more or less.

In person, the stains are severe, as are the scratches and dings. The cuffs currently look vastly worse than in Blackburns photos.
I really just wanted potential buyers to know the condition prior to bidding and possibly
winning a non-redeemable pair of cuffs and being as upset about them as my friend.
