Mel Heller- Escape Artist???

I obtained a pair of Crocket & Kelly handcuffs yesterday that were once owned by an Escape Artist named Mel Heller. The box they came with has a hand written note on the top, written in pencil, and is dated 3-2-86. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about him or not. Thanks.

I do not know about Mel Heller, however i have a set of Crocket and kelly handcuffs, middle keyhole style, could you please post a picture of the box?? Mine did not come with one. Brian
