Hiatt Speedcuffs

Hello everyone.

I am looking to add a pair of Hiatt Speedcuffs to the collection - unfortunately, finding them is relatively difficult now (Not as hard as the HSS9 however).
I see some crop up on eBay here and there, but I am not sure how they are - and in what condition, take these for example:

There is really no info on these, and it looks like there may be some rust/corrosion on the bolts that hold the polyurethane molding on - it could be just me.
That and there is no mention of the condition and no pictures of the other side.

As far as I know, it is law in the UK to grind off the serial numbers before export/sale.

Does anyone here have a pair of speedcuffs that they would be willing to part with?
I am looking for a decent price, can pay with payPal, ship to Canada (London, ON).

I though you might like to see this one which I sold a while back. The original owner had 3 and I bought 2. He thought they were used in the Custody Rooms and colored so as not to get mixed up with the Constables cuffs.

Hiatt Speedcuffs were introduced around 1995. Before that UK police used Kwikcuffs/Quickcuffs,[made in USA] these were introduced around 1991-1992. Then UK police started to use Hiatt's from around 1995

Kwikcuffs/Quickcuffs did have a smaller wrist circumference compared to the Hiatt's, were heavier, had a different grip and came in different finishes

As someone mentioned, they were introduced around 20 years ago. Maybe someone can determine when serial number 799026, and 799027 were actually made? Paul
