Hi Michael, we have the same TV shows here, AGT, the voice, etc. I have been working with an person on one of these shows and it's all TV spin. The people are judged by who the widest audience likes, or thrills them on any given day.

With new apts, linked directly to the TV station, and on screen questions for veiwers to respond to. The producers have the show planned out and can change/edit it before going to aire to make the most of it.

It has nothing to do with anyone's real talent. The best talent would be wise enough to not to go on these types of shows.

I have seen him perform live, three feet away from me and I loved it.

Rarely do I agree with Ian but I have to concur here........I have seen Michael Griffin perform close-up (any closer and I would have been in his pocket) and he did a GREAT job! And the kicker is, I know what to look for and when he was misdirecting and I still didn't see anything I was not suppose to see. He always does a great job. My two cents.

I'm glad I caught Mike on "America's Got Talent" - he did a great job, as usual.

Unfortunately, magic & escape acts have a hard time on this show (i.e. Season Pros such as The Pendragons & Kevin James didn't get past one or two spots).

AGT winners are often more about having some sad & inspirational story, than true talent. As with almost all "Reality TV" programs - the producers can 'make or break you' via how they want the acts edited.

Any "behind-the-scenes" stories, Mike?
Did the live audience see exactly what the home-audience saw?

This guys performance was a joke. What a tool, he should be ashamed of what he did on national television.
