how was the tri-lock quality?

Just what the topic says. How did the quality of the tri-lock cuffs compare to other contempory models? I've been thinking about picking up a pair and wondered how well they were made.

How was the tri-lock quality??? I might be confused but I thought tri-lock still produces handcuffs. At least that's what I gathered looking at www.cannonsgreatescapes.com website.

And given the cuff met NIJ criteria then I would assume the quality was Okey Doeky?

Hello,
I have one of the older models with the platic arms. Something came loose in one of the lockcases (it's not the bit of a key) and prevents the key from working. I only operated with the cuffs occasionaly so the fault wasn't with heavy use, etc.

This just may be a fluke; I wonder if anyone else has experienced a failure of this sort.

The other half of the cuff works well.

I bought one of each of the orignal Trilock styles, chain, cable, web and hinged. The lock on one side of the web version became jammed and inoperable very soon after I got it after almost no use.
