#3Speaking of equality, Margarette, would you happen to remember this vintage gem that debuted back in '79?
Let me tell ya, I was absolutely head over heels in love with this Australian obscurity, stayed up late to catch every episode, until WPIX in New York cancelled the show because they thought it too saucy for the American people. I was "fit to be tied" when they replaced my favorite new obsession with then already several years old M*A*S*H reruns. Today the episodes are fortunately available on DVD for us deprived Yanks (the show continued to air in Canada).
I discussed P.C.B.H. with another handcuff/restraint collector, although neither of us recalls seeing any type of personal restraint in use. There was even an episode whereby the ladies were transported via prison bus to another facility due to a huge fire at Wentworth, though nary a cuff to be found throughout the ordeal.

#4I remember that show and it aired on the PBS station here in the Washington, DC area. Got to see other stuff like Blake's 7 too.

#5Thanks for posting this sci-fi series. Blake's 7 sounds like a cross between the futuristic dystopian films, "Zardoz" and "Logan's Run". Neither film contained much in the way handcuffs, but both "A Boy And His Dog" and "Dreamscape" featured authentic medical restraints. Also, I recall a dungeon scene replete with shackles in the out-of-print "Futureworld," an underrated sequel to the popular "Westworld".
