pre 1900 Irish Eights Handcuffs for sale/ info wanted

I have a pair of fully working irish eights hand cuffs which i think are probably 100-150 years old with key and would like information / valuation on them before i ebay them for a elderly friend can anyone help ? photos can be supplied to any experts out there .

I would think they are for women or children as they are to small for my big wrists , there is some imprinted /stamped shapes on them but i can not make it out other than a number 2 in two places .
