Hi fellow collectors,
I am looking for a set of American Handcuff Co. N-500 (I know I'm not the only one but it doesn't hurt to ask). If anyone has a set for sale at a reasonable price, please let me know.

Refresh my memory, which model is this? I don't want to go through the two boxes of American cuffs to see.

Thank you sir, like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. I can narrow it down to the hinged cuffs box and see if there is one hidden in there.

Hi everyone,

I was very astonish seeing that the last N-500 brought more than US$ 130 at eBay. I did not think that it yet became such a highly sought-after object. Did AHC produce these handcuffs in only few numbers? And do you know if more N-500 or N-400 were made?

Hi Peter,

I can understand you, because this model is still missing in my collection, too. When looking at the prices currently paid not only for AHC N-500 but also for A-105 and JN-105 handcuffs as well as for L-600 leg irons, I guess I have to hurry getting all AHC-restraints still missing in my collection before their prices increase even more! So far I own S-100N and N-105 handcuffs and L-100 leg irons, which are all three pretty common, I think. But I am lucky to also have purchased JN-105, N-400 and A-550 handcuffs, which already seem to become rare.

Hi folks,
I just found out that I bought this set of N-500's from a guy who sold me a similar set which never arrived a few years ago so I just hope I'm not paying twice for the same set of cuffs. If anyone has a set for sale, I'm still interested.

Sometimes even a blind hog finds an acorn and that's what happened to me. I found one pair of A105s and 3 pairs of N-550s. On top of that they are all BRAND NEW and still in perfect boxes (cool too with a snake on the front). I'm keeping the A105s and one of the N550s. I have one N550 on ebay so that leaves me with one extra. If anyone is interested in the last pair of American N550s make me an offer. Otherwise they'll go on ebay once the other pair sells.

I'm assuming you don't have them anymore. I just had my A-550 stolen last night from my car! I"m shocked I can't find another pair! thanks

I am sorry to hear of your loss. Tis the season for this sort of thing to happen. I hope it was just a random crime and not a fellow collector who did not find a nice pair of cuff under the tree this year.
I did not relalize that these cuffs were worth the money that they have bringing in. I don't have one either so I too am interested in getting one. I do have a prototype of that cuff. The hinge fingers on the prototype are a bit longer than the production model and the cuff does not fold flat because of this. It is hard to put them in a cuff case so the factory shortened the fingers when manufacturing began.
I hope you find a new pair and please let me know if your seller has another one for me.
