just received my 2nd set of Rankin / Delestatius LEG IRONS, one set has 11 links & the other 13 !

does anyone have any with more or less?
how many have the same?

10 twisted links, not oval links.

I have two sets, both with twisted links.
One set 10, one set 11.

The 11 link model has longer links. Those are pinched at one end and welded in place.
The 10 link model has welds that are "nicer", more rounded / butted.

Thanks for your response, as we all know much of the history of many of our collectibles has been lost. By noting what we have and getting it written down here may someday revile information for the future !

JAY,wondering if your 11 link is slightly larger then the 10 link, my 13 is larger then the 11 link, didn't know if they made size's but could be the more links the larger the leg iron!
Was looking for more response but i guess the experts want to be closed mouthed, like always WHY, I HAVE NO IDEA, just more things that will be lost over time

Hi LK, don't be dispondant, I am sure the experts would respond, I wouldn't say I fall into the expert field but as the cuff is scarce, I don't have one to tell you about.

Hi Lk it's mike the seller of the rankin leg iron .i also noticed that the 13 links was very unusual I contacted some other collectors before i decided to sell them and as far as I know this is the only set I've seen with 13 links hopefully you get more input from other collectors but I hope that they turn out to be something unique ,also Lk is a very dependable buyer who made the transaction quick and easy and I highly recommend him as a customer.

RON,if available is your 13 link set larger then the 11, and are the 11 set's all the same size?

Yes the links are different sizes and the construction technique is also different.
