After looking at details, I get the impression these
Stotz are not original but imitations. The millings in
the bowes are deeper than usual and grey color to
the metal looks strange.

As the seller doesn't respond to Michael's question,
the hole thing makes me very suspectious.

The seller responded to my email, at the end of last month, requesting the high bid (660 Euros).

What looked suspicious to me, was the condition. There is absolutely no dirt or wear in the bow millings or any other area of the cuffs.

I wonder if these are one of Ian's great reproductions?

Hi Lars and Ron,

that is exactly what I thought, when I saw the cuffs for the first time. Some years ago I had the opportunity to handle a pair of Ian's repro Stotz cuffs, and one of the major differences between a Stotz and Ian's reproduction is the diameter of the locking bolt.
