Tower Leg Iron?

Just wonder about this Tower type leg iron. It has swivels that attach the chain to the clevis and the lock case is slightly smaller than a standard Tower leg iron. It does double lock just like the Tower and the bow appears to be identical in size and shape but may be a bit smaller at the clevis where the bows join. There are no markings.

I know of two others in private collections. Does anyone else have one with markings and or additional information?

Back at you. Your new irons are very nice.

Foth is a possibility although my Foth handcuffs are the same size as the Tower version. I guess the swivels would make it harder to compromise the chain. There must not have been many produced by whom ever made them.

HI Damon,
I am one of those who also has one of these. Here is a photo of mine. Yes the lock case is
about 1/4 inch smaller than a normal Tower double lock leg iron. I would agree it's possible
these are made by Foth, but I guess we really don't know. Mine are stamped Tower Double Lock, so
they are Tower-made. Doesn't everyone have one?? Happy Holidays to all our friends. May your stockings be full of metal in the morning! John
