#5I bought one of these a couple years ago.
Unless they changed things, they will not hold the strongest of perps, are not made by the same company as Winchester, nor are they used by 100's of law enforcement agencies or are certified by anyone.
They are a cheap Taiwan copy and do not even have the interlocking ditched bows.
They do not serve the fine name of Schrade (a famous knife manufacturer)very well at all.
I am surprised Schrade allowed their name to be used on such an inferior product.
These are best suited to remain in their box and be a part of a collection. Comes in black too.

Geoff, are you in Australia? if this cuff is $21.00 and S&W $24, what the problem? shipping is cheaper than $29.00, I can get them for about $18.00

Mark is spot on.
Now I will say, there is a stainless model and a nickel model. The nickel is as Mark says but the stainless does have ditched bows and same-facing keyholes. However, they are still security guard level at best. Even their own literature states a breaking strength of 340 pounds which is less than half of the top tier cuffs like Peerless and S&W.
I have both the nickel and stainless and even the stainless is nowhere near as good as the Winchester or Chicago cuffs.
