Anybody know anything about these Peerless Handcuffs they were my father's when he worked for the San Francisco Sheriffs Dept. in the 50s @ 60s

Are they worth anything? When were they made?

Why does the rivet for the swinging bow look odd? Is it just me or do they look different?

If I may be so bold, I hope their sentimental value will be far greater that probably a few dozen dollars.

And also, if they are from that time period, they are probably the same model used on Lee Harvey Oswald when he was shot.

BTW, that 50th anniversary comes up this year. The officer handcuffed to Oswald when he was shot still has the pair:

Hi, these cuffs have seen some action. The years of wear on the surface seem to have worn the hinge rivets and or the frame has had pressure. The hinge rivet are loose on all accounts.

Interesting old Model 4, Version 3. With all the scratches and hinge pin beginning to separate from the cuff body, it bears a striking resemblance to some of the old aluminum cuffs I've had the opportunity to meet.
