Has anyone ever heard of "The Peace Officer" magazine? I recently purchased the October 1930 issue and it has an article in here written by Gill. The article is the last of 3 articles he wrote and the previous two issues have the others. It has photos and paragraphs talking about restraints and showing photos of things I've never even heard of. It also talks about the Oregon Boot and how there were 8 different models and gives the names of each. It also include info about ball and chains, Tower and Bean, Cobb, Tridel etc... I would love to get the other issues if anyone has them or knows how to obtain a copy. It's also interesting to read how he personally invites all police officers to come see his collection and gives his address and phone number to do so. I live in Kansas City so I plan on driving by the given address and see what's currently in the location. According to the GPS there is a residential house. Not sure if that is the same location as it would be in 1930 so I'll have to do my research. Certainly there is record of his residence and/or business on file somewhere.

Aren't those articles on the disc that Stan Willis sold?...they sound familiar.

Joe, you are correct the article was reproduced by Stan and is on the disk and the hard copy he also sold.
