New to collecting first real purchase I made, is this real???

Hi guys can only post one photo for now until the 12th, didn't think to compress the other photos I posted. I can tell you it weighs 25 kg (55 pounds for the yanks) and has a solid link chain, there is really old felt on the cuff and the felt was once secured with a thin metal backing, the cuff was once painted orange. The ball is covered in a layer of brass that has split a bit, the whole thing is very very heavy. Will post more pics when I can, regards Jim.
