I've got a question about handcuffshop.co.uk

Does someone have experience with buying from this website? I can't find any reviews on the Internet...

Yes, I have some experience, but it was eight years ago, when they also bought on eBay. No problem for these auctions, I always own two nice Kyoung-Chang handcuffs pairs.

Have bought the odd pair of cuffs a few times over the last few years from thehandcuffshop. Always had a good experience. Once I bought a discounted item and the discount wasn't reflected properly in the check out. A quick email resolved that.

I've been buying stuff from the handcuffshop for quite some time and all transactions worked out just the way they were supposed to. It's been a while since I ordered there but I'm sure Ian is as nice as he used to be .

I have had several dealings with Ian at thehandcuffshop and would highly recommend him. Delivery is always excellent and free postage on orders over a certain price.

If a product is not in stock you have to send an e-mail. How long does it take to get the product in stock after you've sent an e-mail?

I have to say dealing with the handcuffshop is better then cuffland.

Brad, that's something I cannot confirm. I've made only the best experiences with www.Cuffsland.com nice people, excellent service and products. They did not sell me leg irons, but EU law only allows leg irons to be sent to European Union countries and not to the US. So Cuffsland is not to blame. Shipping handcuffs and neck collars to the States is no problem at all strange Europeans!

Dealt with them numerous times over a period of several years and always found them totally reliable. Might be worthwhile giving them a call to make sure that they've got whatever you want in stock - otherwise they'll give you an estimated delivery date.

I have never had an occasion to purchase anything from The Handcuff Shop but I have heard that many collectors found what they were looking for and had quality service there.

I have purchased many a fine item from Cuffsland and can't even imagine anyone having any complaints or anything resembling a bad experience.
These are the finest folks on the planet and an asset to the hobby.

If anyone had deal go sour, it must have been due to simple human error or a post office delay.

If it were caused by the former, all I can say is that nothing is 100% and the fine shopkeepers would do anything to recifty any problem.

thank you so much for your kind words. My wife and I are running http://www.cuffsland.com/ part-time, which means that the shop not essential for our survival . Satisfied customers are very important for us - Cuffsland is a shop "from handcuffs collectors for handcuffs collectors" and besides the new modern stuff, we are always trying to get some vintage models for ours "Collector's Corner".

What is very strange is that we've only one guy with first name Brad(ford) in our customer database and he was happy with the goods he received from us three years ago (I checked the old e-mails).

PS: @Pete: I think that we got this silly law concerning teh export of leg irons together with Great Britain when the European Union was built.

I have also very positive words to say about Cuffsland. Pricing is reasonable, everything works fine. Fast delivery, reasonable shipping. Higly recommend place to deal with!

I have bought from there many times and likely will again. My last order was within the last few weeks. When it comes to buying in the UK there are not many choices. So you have to buy from where you can source things.

I am glad the store is there. I would rather it exist and sell cuffs than not exist.

A wider range of cuffs would be nice though. There's no ASP, no Chicago, no CTS Thompson etc etc. But at least they have enough stuff to get people's collections and needs filled to a good degree. I'm not too happy his Alfa-Proj prices have been massively hiked up recently. Hopefully that is because the actual source cost has gone up. I do not know. I had plans of buying more Alfa Proj but the prices are putting me off now. :(

Never in a million years would I spend £120 on a £50 handcuff. So for now, alfas are off the table for me. But he has some other things I may be getting in the nearish future.

M Cook asked me to delete the current dispute and then refund me and for 6 months no news from him…
