European Unioun (or traveling to Poland/Russia) Restricted items? - Handcuffs

Greeting Gentlemen,
I have been around this forum quite a few times, and have started collecting handcuffs quite a while ago
(Thank you to the Amazing Michael! I saw his YouTube videos

I am going over to Poland to meet a few buddies of mine, they also collect handcuffs.
I do have a few rare ones (Hiatt HSS9, Stazi handcuffs), but also some modern ones such as ASP Hinged, still in packaging.

In my effrots to determine the legality of traveling with handcuffs either in checked or carry on, I have found the following:

It seems that North America is following the TSA guidelines, and allowing them in carry on.

My problem comes from what they will say in Europe.
I will be arriving in Poland as my first stop. It does not appear that there are no indications that explicitly prohibit handcuffs. Same with Russia.

What makes me worry a little is what Martin said about two years ago:

"I know that at some european airports they are/were listed as prohibited items".

Unfortunately I am unable to find any airports in Poland or Russia.

I searched the IATA http://www.iata.org/Pages/default.aspx)

About the only hit I found doesn't even come from Europe, it comes from Australia:

And even then, that just seems that it's domestic travel.

Basically, if you are going to Singapore...

So, with all this searching I have turned up nothing.

Could anyone advise me if they have done some traveling to Europe with handcuffs?
It would be a shame to have them confiscated.
It's seems nigh on impossible to find a list of prohibited items by country.

Yep, makes a hard case to argue.
I know a few members here have gone overseas to conventions, but not sure how EU treats them.

:/ As far as I know, onl the TSA (Air Canada, American Airlines, etc) have explicitly stated "restraints - handcuffs" to be on the allowed list...

Worth mentioning, handcuffs cannot be brought though as carry on items in Poland.
