Strange Luna (?) type cuffs on ebay

Hi everyone,

unfortunately I was not the high bidder on these cuffs, but they are quite interesting nevertheless.

For lack of a better name, I called them Luna-type, because they remind me of this rare Japanese type.

Does anyone have any better information?

I also thought these were a Luna variant, but don't have much to compare them with. There is a set on Yossie's site, with the other known example belonging to Stan Willis. I recall when Stan paid something like $6,000 for a working example sans moon rust. Are there any other known Lunas out there?

This sadly deteriorated example features curved bows, and looks quite like the auctioned cuffs aside from the obvious linkage differences.
