Sounds like a Plug 8 or Hamburg 8's are what you are looking for,
Not many cuffs in the world place the wrists within millimeters of each other then either cuff.
Real ones can be had for less than $150 and there are tons of the reproduction ones in nickel or chrome plating for under $50 on a good day.
