Hiatt Handcuff

Greetings everyone

I recently acquired a pair of handcuffs w key that are stamped with the following info

Hiatt

Wrought Warranty

British Made

And the number 580 stamped on both the cuffs and Key

It does not come out well in the pictures but the cuffs have a brownish coloring to them.

I tried doing research to determine any info and came up with this website, so here I am asking for any information people may know about this pair of cuffs

Warranted Wrought = Gauranteed Wrought / Hand Forged.

leave em brown. (That's the way they should look)

Better ones would say "Hiatt Best" and "Hard".
These are the cheaper version. Not much more to say about these that you have not already pointed out.

Is there any way to figure out the age of the cuffs, or if they are genuinely aged or new made to look old.

it is an old cuff

leave them BROWN.

Any attempt to polish or SHINE EM UP will diminish their value.

The British Made mark was first used post WWI.
