Does anyone know about riveted leg irons stamped Moreton & Foster.
This company seem to have been around since at least 1820 and may have been connected with Moreton & Langley which made padlocks in the 1830's. I believe they traded in metal ware and had a presence in Africa and Tasmania (Van Diemen's Land, Australia). Were they a manufacturers or a retailer of restraints. Paul
