I had hoped that some of you would appreciate seeing this as I did.
This leads me to wonder if anyone has a set of stamps that depicts handcuffs.
Due to the fact that there is interest to this cross-over hobby, I will look for more.

Joe, have you ever seen such a cuff as this? It is possible that 1 or 2 exist somewhere:)

Here is a stamp from Mali.
It depicts the I Love Lucy Show in "The Handcuffs" episode.
Here the locksmith was hired to pick off the Pinkerton cuffs that Fred applied to Lucy and Ricky.

Someone is having trouble trying to sort things out.
Yes, this is a handcuff site. Congratulations, you figured out how to manipulate your keyboard to find this fine forum and can join the fine folks here who come to learn about all facets of hancuff history, technology, manufacturing, and collecting.
Your successful control of hand/eye coordination rewarded you with this avenue to learn and absorb some of the above. If your brain had any capacity, you would realize that the images of the stamps I posted are directly related to the handcuff hobby.
This is a forum for handcuff collectors, remember?
People who frequent these pages tend to find handcuff related items interesting and to their liking.

Hi all,

I am glad that all of you are enjoying this blog.

It is fairly time consuming to find these as most searches on stamp websites come up empty handed when using "handcuffs" as the keyword.
I will keep searching however because I know that all of you appreciate it.


I am not familiar with the country of Lisotho, but I am glad they have been free from their oppressive former government.

While the First Day Cover of the below image doesn't offer a cuff stamp, the ink stamp offers an eye appealing shape. The two sides even appear to be different cuffs. One side might even be a Goncz......but lets not get started on this again!



Handcuff collecting fits in well with coin and stamp collecting as it generates interest in geography.

Wonder what kind of cuffs the Lisotho Police use on Lisotho crooks.

P.S. I just Googled Lisotho and learned that it is small Kingdom completely surrounded by South Africa. Two million people reside there.
