Somewhere I read that Houdini explained to the McGill students that he had to attend to some important correspondence immediately and privately and asked the boys to step out and Julia Sauer to come in for a few minutes. The correspondence taken care of, Julia stepped out and the boys came back in.

In her own sworn statement, Julia said she went to lunch with other members of the company while the three McGill students were visiting Houdini.
I still recall vividly that Houdini excused himself for a few minutes to take care of some private correspondence during his visit with the students. But where did I read it?

Or, Julia Sauer left for lunch after she and Houdini had attended to the private correspondence. The boys say they left at 1:15. Sophie Rosenblatt says she and Julia arrived back at the theatre at 5 P.M.

We all know that Houdini is the handcuff king and anything info about him or other manacle monarchs that you care to share with us is appreciated.
Most of us know who you are and it an honor to have you share your vast knowledge on the subject with us here on the forum.
The anonymous poster is a nobody loner who probably lives in the basement of his parent's house....a pesty gnat, if you will.

Kevin, you too are a tremendous asset to this forum. Unlike the pest, your contributions are very welcome and interesting.

I don't know how long a gnat can live but in time most pests eventually fade away.
