Can one post wtb ads?

I haven't seen anyone else posting such, is it allowed to post wanted ads seeking what you are looking for on here? Or is this violating a forum rule? Not wanting to run afoul of any rules...

Go for it, nothing wrong with reaching out to other collectors and letting them know what you're looking for.
