eBay, original hiatt speedcuffs?

Hello people!

I was looking for a pair of Hiatt speedcuffs to add to the collection, and found a pair that is on sale on eBay.

I am not sure if they are real though.
The reason being, is that I haven't seen a pair of handcuffs with a serial number for sale.
I was under the impression that all of these handcuffs have had the serial numbers removed, and you were unable to get a pair with the original SN intact?

Could anyone help me out here?

Speed cuffs with serial numbers are not all that rare. They are plentiful.

usually they only grind off the numbers if they are ex police cuffs.
