Indy dates set!

Hello fellow collectors,

The date for the Crossroads of America padlock and restraint show are set. Mark your calendars;
April 12th and 13th, 2014.

I am aware of a great many handcuffs that will be for sale there, and if the past several years are
any indication, there will be a lot of rare cuffs to look at on display. Approximately 70-90 tables
have been sold in the dealers room in the past few years - all full of locks or restraints. I hope we can
all get together there and have a lot of fun catching up. I wanted to get the info out now to allow planning time.

For all you swing-through collectors - there will be a lot of handcuffs for sale as well, and for significantly
reduced prices! I'll spread more about this as I get more information.

Note to the Euro guys: White Castls are small hamburgers (known as Sliders or Gut Grenades)and are sold in a limited area in the U.S. Nasty but delicious!

Note to Euro guys:

I wrote the above post because I love to write things on the forum.
I don't really know anything about handcuffs so I have nothing to contribute. The best I can do is write stupid comments and hide behind the anonymous name.
Because of the fact that I am a pathetic dumb shit, all I write here is the upper limit of what my very limited IQ will allow.
I am in between jobs and still live with my parents. I live in the basement and play X-Box games all day, except for the time I like to spend on Handcuffs.org. I pick my nose in between games too.
I can't afford to buy handcuffs but that is OK because I get enjoyment posting stupid and shitty things on a blog while thinking that someone out there will admire me for my wit. This seems to be a good trade off and it will have to do as I have no other choice while living out my years as a complete loser in the first degree.
Attention is what I crave and it seems that it will never come to me as I did poorly in school and can't hold a job. McDonalds fired me from my last job because I couldn't throw the trash out properly.
Well, being a stupid piece of shit works for me so I will find another idiotic comment to write or maybe I will advance to the next level of Space Invaders. I just can't decide. Maybe I will just pick my nose for a while.

Hey Guys,

I am currently planning on attending Indy this year (if all goes as planned) and am looking forward to seeing everyone once again. As in the past, I will be picking up the hospitality room/suit/whatever, only this year it will be open to handcuff collectors both Friday and Saturday night. All I ask is the rest of you guys stock it with food, booze, and White Castles, and good times.

Hello everyone,

Michael, I can't believe of all the photos of Indy that were taken you could find that one. I remember it well - we'd been up
for two days - and had so much fun we wore ourselves out. I'm thrilled you'll make it. Anyone else coming? Please let us know.

Two things - of particular interest to all you who collect the modern swing through handcuffs:

Mauri Willis will be there with at a lot of handcuffs (between 200 and 400???). It is the balance of Stan's collection. And, prepare yourselves for the
feeding frenzy - everything will be 50% off the prices originally listed on my website. For those who go look that list is NOT up to date.
I have an updated list but it will not be available - Mauri will bring what is left to the convention. She does not have a lot of older items, but a lot of swing through cuffs, and a lot of foreign cuffs are left. It will all be there.

Also, I know of at least one other person bringing a fair amount to sell.

To reiterate Michael Busch's info:

Ask for the lock show room rate, which Pete Schaffer thought was about $72 per night not including tax. There will also be a dinner
Saturday night, which will be an additional $23 Pete thought. That is payable when you get there if you don't register in advance.
Tables are available in the dealers room. You can bring stuff to display or sell. The dealers room set up will be Friday night, and you
need to have a table to get in. Even though it's only set up, trust me that many deals are made Friday night. The convention runs all day Saturday,
and no charge for the actual convention as long as you register. If anyone wants to get the mailing from Pete Schaffer email me and I'll send his
phone number to you. You should do this if you're not on his mailing list. You can then register for the dinner and/or get a table.

The White Castle logo is derived from the Water Tower in Chicago, the only structure to survive the Great Fire of 1871.

Just a tidbit there.
