would anyone of you have a pair of Chubb Escort Handcuffs for sale ?
Looking for one in good condition with inserts.
But I'd generally also be interested in cuffs in other condition and / or without inserts.

The Chubb Escort 1k52 didn't come with inserts, they are/were an option. They come in 3 sizes numbered 1 to 3. They are cast and are not well finished but do the job well!. The Cuffs themselves are 3 posistion adjustable. Chubb are notoriously difficult to deal with. The most plentiful supplier seems to be fleabay, but only buy if they have a WORKING key. Early models had a 9 waffer lock, later ones 10. They are uniquely keyed (in my experience), so buying a pair in the hope of finding a key is pretty pointless. Look for a pair with a picture of the open cuff, as the key cannot be removed from the open cuff, the key has to work. Even key blanks are not easily come by, as the locks are usually associated with controlled circulation status. I have 8 pairs from Mark I to current manufacture and 4 complete sets of inserts. And no, I don't want to sell them!. : )
