I still hope to make it to Indy but I doubt I'll be able to get there because of the new job. If I'm not there, I'll see you all at the Euro-con later this year.

Hello,

Several of us have been asking each other about the Saturday night dinner at Indy. Well, I believe I'm safe in saying
most of the restraint collectors there will not be at the dinner, and we're opting instead to all go out to a restaurant together.
We'll get a count when there, make a reservation, and head out. We're looking into a hospitality room for Friday and/or Saturday
night for us as well, and will let everyone know--Thanks to Joe Guinte on this one.

I know Mark Lundblad, Elliot Cutler, Damon, Joshua and Sarah (and Annalise) are coming, as well as those who've posted on
another thread; Michael Busch, Gordon, Karl, Mark, said he'll be there. Welcome to Arioch who will be coming for his first trip.
Peter, we still hope you can make it!

Mauri Willis will be there with my guess over 300 handcuffs to sell from Stan's collection - all at a bargain 50% off the retail price.
So all you swing-through and foreign-cuff collectors should consider coming! There will be plenty of cuffs to buy, and some incredibly rare stuff to
look at.

Book your rooms at the hotel soon. Pete's mailing has gone out and everyone should have it by now. They only reserve so many rooms for the convention, and it's a good rate. Mention the padlock show when you book it.

Hi,
I thought I'd take one more opportunity to invite anyone out there who collects restraints to come to the Indy
show this year. Mauri Willis will have 200-300 (maybe more) cuffs for sale, at 50% off. Damon will have cuffs
for sale from the Ray McKee collection. Others will have stuff for sale as well. TONS of foreign and American
swing through items from Mauri! What are left of the thumbcuffs and nippers, and leg irons as well. LOTS of stuff to buy.
We're all going out to dinner together Saturday night, and should have a great deal of fun sharing recent finds,
telling stories, and we should have a hospitality room for Friday and Saturday night to stay up late and chat.
HOw often will YOU see a real Kimball in person. One should be there. I have a photo of three Guiteaus from last year.
It's a lot of fun to see the rare stuff, find something for your collection, but most of all meet both old and new friends.


I know these people are coming: Josh and Sarah, Mark Lundblad, Mark, Gordon, Michael Busch, Arioch, Ron Spitz, Damon, Joe Lauher, Joe Guinte,
Elliot Cutler, Karl Grice, Vince, Paul Reardon, hopefully Clyde Lowe, myself, Mauri Willis, and hopefully another few
collectors I've not personally confirmed with yet.

Is anyone else coming I've missed? Please let me know, either here or privately. I'm working on a little project and
need to know who might be there.


I simply can't express the fun and enjoyment of talking to those with similar interests, and learning from
each other. The hotel rate is very reasonable (about $72/night plus taxes). No cost for the convention.
Just some money for snacks/food and some buying money for locks/cuffs.

Picture between 75 and 90 tables filled with stuff we collect. You can't beat that kind of fun. Anyway,
let me know if I didn't list your name above, or forgot you were coming. I really appreciate letting me know.

Plus you never know what may come through the door. There have been many items that were thought to have never been produced that have made their way to Indy.
