Busch Nipper ("Herkules")

I got this nipper from a UK seller. It is German but was also patented in the US in 1911 by Franz Busch of Duisburg Germany who was also a police inspector. There is a release button on the side of the handle which will cause the cuff to spring open. Closing can be by contact or pulling the handle. There are three lock positions and it looks like it was painted black originally. I love the mechanics of the early nippers.
