ER Rickard screw lock??

I am currently working on a article for the local historical society here in Shepherdstown WV home of the Rickard locks. I have come across a few locks in the larger area without any marking on them. Is this a ER lock or perhaps by his father Michael who invented the lock? Any help with this would go along way.
