Rare Chubb Escort?

I am told that this is a rare model of Chubb Escort, based on the oblong shape of the retainer plate. Apparently most if not all Escorts have a round retainer plate, either flat or conical.

Sadly this did not come with keys.

Before getting it drilled to rekey it, is there anyone who would swap me a set of regular Escorts complete with keys for what I have here?

I don't want to ruin a pair of collectible cuffs if someone values them as is.

Chubb Escorts use Chubb AVA locks if I am not mistaken. These have found to be both pickable (openable) and decodable (getting the key number so you can reproduce a key) by some expert locksmiths. I have found references to it in Locks Safes and Security 5+ (also known as the lock bible, it describes techniques to defeat the most simple to most advanced locks). I believe FALLE SAFE SECURITIES even provides tools to defeat these kinds of locks. And seeing the locks defeated by expert locksmiths and pickers, I reckon these locks should be challenging but not even near impossible. You should contact FALLE or something like TOOOL (The Open Organisation Of Lockpicker). They should be able to help you if you can prove that you have genuine interest (they also love handcuff locks, perhaps you can trade them something interesting).
