Newly purchased Darbys

Hello My name is Thomas,
I just purchase these 2 sets of Darby style handcuffs I live in the states so I have seen these cuffs before my main question is, though I am familiar with Hiatt's, Peerless I have never heard of this particular pair called broggatt?? came with a little canvas bag the other is Hiatt and are shiny and just wanted to make sure my $200.00 dollar investment is sound and these are legit? They are are in really nice shape which has me alittle worried, I shined them up with some gun oil.

The name is Froggatt, (pronounced Fro-gat). $200 for 2 pair in good condition is in the ball park. Froggatt are not as common, so I'd value them more than Hiatt. Different Froggatt family members made cuffs from early 1800s to early 1900s.

Your right! I took my jewelers loupe and seen it said FROGGATT WARRANTED WROUGHT by the hinge with the number 73 and HARD stamped into it on the other side they seem pretty big 2 3/4" WIDE inside x 2 3/16" tall inside. Don't mean to change the subject but If you or anybody can give me step by step instructions on how to down load pic's I sure would be greatful LOL! Thanks again for the reply.

Below that somewhere is the link to that image.
