Griffin & Nichols Cuffs

I have just inherited a pair of Darby Back Strap Handcuffs from Britain marked Griffin Nichols. They have the number 1 stamped on each hinge and what appears to be the word hard (hand?)stamped on one of the cuffs. I have a couple of questions please. Firstly would you be able to give me an approximate age of these cuffs and secondly is there a place a person can have keys made to fit these cuffs?

Try John Bushey, Darby keys aren't easy to make and generally the price reflects that.

I've received some very helpful responses from Ian, John and Joe. They have given me some good advice and I'll be checking to see if Ian is able to produce the necessary key. It seems that these cuffs are well worth keeping as they appear to be somewhat scarce as there aren't too many Darbys out there with the Griffin & Nichols maker mark. To my uneducated eye they are in good condition and have been well looked after for the past couple of hundred years.
