Comes with non-original working key. One side the springs are a little weak, but the other pretty good.

Both sides lock fine, and work properly. This is a rare handcuff, and very rare with the handle. I may be wrong, but I'd guess the number of these with the handle at 6 or less.

A 1909 letter from the Burdick Cuff Company postmarked from Cincinnati to S.A Lund, Sheriff in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

I really like this for the unbeknownst to me motto of this company "For Officers who want and will have the best"

I not only have a few cuffs around, I also like to collect boxes, letters or any ephemera relating to cuffs.
